MK I Tone Bender labels? Hi all. I've got a MK I replica that's all ready for the labeling. Never done this before; any recommendations on what to do? Thanks.

No replies eh. How about what type of labels should I get and where can I get them from? I have access to a laser printer or jet, if that makes a differerence. Thanks.

I think nobody has answered because a) there are so many options and b) this isn't primarily a DIY site.
You could try waterslide decals if you want a slick professional look, I got some on ebay but haven't used any yet. I use embossing tape most of the time. Maybe look at this humungous thread on diystompboxes if you need ideas

I used some clear adhesive labels for mine, printed on a laser printer, they're OK but you can see a sheen where the clear label is. I'd have a go with waterslide if you can. Not tried them myself yet though.
I have a pdf which is very close to the original typeface send me a PM if you want it.

Thanks Simohm and Tatter!
I think I'll try the waterslide suggestion. Is a laser better than ink jet for this or the other way round?

With laser decal paper you don't need to clear lacquer spray it, you have to do this on the inkjet paper to seal the ink on the paper for when you put it in the water.
Laser decal paper is less fuss but more expensive... though not much really.

Oh, ok. Thanks Leon. I appreciate the input!
