MKII Range or Amount of Fuzz
Now being the hopeless fuzz junkie that I am and not owning a true MKII clone (although one's in the mail thanks Dave) I've got a couple of others. What I've noticed is that the range or amount of fuzz across the taper (say 0 -10) is not a huge amount difference. On another note, one particular well known clone the unity gain seems to be at about 3.00. Is this the norm with MKII's?

A fuzz junkie can never be described as hopeless  As I run most fuzzes on full and use the guitars volume control then I don't notice much difference when I roll off the fuzz. Most of my fuzzes don't have a huge range but I'll have to try some subtle variations with the MKII to see. Everything DAM is normally full on for me

I've had a number of MKII copies and in general the range of fuzz or attack tends to be pretty small.. pretty darn fuzzy to really fuzzy. The amount of boost available or how far up the dial unity's at tends to vary more from builder to builder probably depending on how much they're modifying the circuit. The only MKII I've got or have tried with a fair amoubnt of range on the attack control is the low gain DAM MKII. As was said though, you'll get a lot more range from your guitar's volume knob than the attack knob on the pedal in any case.
