Hey ho, Thought this would be of use to volume hungry freaks out there or anyone wanting as little noise as possible from there Titan. As it states on my dodgy diagram this only applies to units numbered 2 through 17. It is really simple to do the mod. All that is needed is to join two said components together at each end. Simple method, use a small piece of wire looped under each component and then twist it at the top to secure it...no solder needed if it's tight enough. Alternatively, you might be able pinch both ends of the components together and solder them to secure. If anyone has trouble or needs help just drop me a line or bung a post up here. Have fun!! Any mod's for a slightly deeper (more transparent) sound? When I boost mine to the levels I want I lose too much low-end.

I might actually get round to trying this sometime this week.

Just did the mod. i simply wrapped a wire around the post of both the cap and the resistor and twist tied it so it was snug and making good contact. Have to say it is a very VERY nice mod. The high end is much smoother now that the noise is cut back. Thanks Captain!

Tried the mod. It's a little less noisy but I seem to have lost a little volume too. Not sure if I prefer it with or without...

Ahem.... changed the battery last night. That's why I was losing output, not the mod. Check out the soundclip in the 'soundclips' section.
