Orange/Matamp pre '69 4x12
i don't want to let this go but seen as im only 5ft4 and this weighs about as much as a tank im gonna have to! as you can see in the pics it's been painted at some point in its life and routed for handles (im not stupid enough to do that it was the previous owner) ive managed to strip ALOT of the paint off the tolex but the back and top remains painted. ive spoke to Jeff at the matamp factory and he quoted me around £100 to make this just as it was the day it left the factory including fixing the handle holes, putting the cloth back in etc... the tolex on this cab is slightly different from the basketweave used on post 1970s orange stuff. its more rigid and plasticy (if that makes sense) as you can also see the cab only includes two speakers these are 15ohm Fanes and are original to the cab. it only came with these and two pop 50s which i quickly got rid of with the intentions of getting some g12h's for it. i'm open to offers and would prefer cash on collection as ive got no idea how i would pack this for shipping! any ideas therefore would be welcome :) feel free to drop me an email - thiscouldbebeautiful@hotmail.co.uk oh and the cab lives in East Lancs :P

i would be willing to ship it! but the buyer would have to tell be how theyd want it packed as theres no hope in hell of finding a box big enough for it :S

Oh man.. Someone's gonna be a happy guy with that monster. What did you end up doing with your Klipp, man, did you get it fixed up?

nah i had to sell it :< its now living in cali but i am keeping my eye out for another i adored that amp :P i get a student loan around septemberish so im looking to replace the klipp and cab with something that i can actually carry :lol:

What are the dimensions of the cab - and would you sell it empty (eg: remove the speakers)??

its 27" wide about 40" high and 16" deep and yea no problem i wouldnt mind keeping the speakers :)

I'm definitely interested. have you handles fitted to the sides? If not, could that be done? Is it poss to get a quote for delivery to Belfast (empty cab only)?

yea it came with handles attached i removed them to strip the cab theyre not included in the sale just for the fact they wernt very nice handles! i was gonna get some official orange ones for it! yea no problem i'd be shipping it with parcel2go so tomorrow i'll take out the speakers and weigh it then get back to you :)

hi it would have to be pallet shipped as it weighs about 35kg and this through parcel2go is £120 including insurance. your very welcome to have a search for a cheaper option though :)
