Ceramic magnets have been given a bad name because of their use in lower price point guitars. High quality ceramic magnets, when built correctly in a pickup can sound just as good as alnico magnets.

I had no compliants aboput my Seymour DUncan Invader (Ceramic Magnet) pickup. Was a fucking awesome pickup.....

I always thought that magnets were made of metal and that ceramics was pottery like plates, cups and bowls :lol: But what do I know - I never listened in science lessons at school....
