i got the high gain one, don't generally like tube screamers but how often are you going to see one made by Dave? the inscrirtion inside was really what sold me though :!:
plus the description said it has a little more bottom end, that and the mechanical switching, cool paint, the more i go back and look at it the more i can't wait for it to arrive... your typical DAM purchase and more... :twisted:

You beat me out on the Hi Gain Tube screamer. I really wanted it but it went beyond what I was willing to pay, I think a -*test*-('") report will be in order. Congratulations on the win! :)

That's a lot of money for a tubescreamer, but I guess it fit's in the price range of other boutique OD's. It is the first tubescreamer I have seen built on perf board, so it gets a lot of cool points there.

By the way, did you get the pedal yet? I just received the PRO 808 today and it smokes! I've tried to get the Hi Gain too, but it finished a hair above my bid.

I was in on the HI 808 too. I just couldn't bring myself to go that high and I have about two or three other pedals that do the same thing. At least I can hear how you like it. :)
