From Simon's website: "Horrible bands like U2 and The Cure and The House Of Love held sway with a collection of horrible flangers and choruses and abominations like the Electric Mistress...." HA! I totally dug the House of Love. Swirly gtr. sounds, Jazzmasters, Boss Vibrato, delays, etc. Now that's good music! But I still's digz da' FUZZ, especially with that cool paintjob. --------------------------------

I had been a fan of the first generation of Creation Recs bands. The House of Love were one of their first signings outside the original Living Room scene, and I 'disapproved' of them at the time, like they were 'betraying' punk or something. I objected to the Electric Mistress on ideological grounds. I took things a lot more seriously back then.

Does anyone on the forum have one of the Rangemaestros ? I've seen some being sold on ebay and wondered what they were like. I think the seller was "purplegothbunny" and they have lots of positive feedback. I have one as of yesterday. I haven't had much time to play with it... all I can tell you is that the boost adds so much volume to my AC30 that I need to be in the other room with earplugs on!
