Rolling Stones - Can't you hear me knocking

Rolling Stones - Can't you hear me knocking I don't know if it's just me or if it is the sadistic avatars/request for blood drop pedal enclosure, but I didn't peg you for a Classic Rock kind of guy

Rolling Stones - Can't you hear me knocking I don't know if it's just me or if it is the sadistic avatars/request for blood drop pedal enclosure, but I didn't peg you for a XXXXXXX XXXX kind of guy  AAAARRRRGGHHHH!!! please don't say the cursed phrase again! it burns my ears! (eyes?)

Cool with the first REALLY hot weekend (31c) of the year! +1 on the muddy, but do you really think that's hot!?!? Early last month it was 115F or 46C where I live. That's when you know summer is here. For us here on the great lakes......the humidex is what kills us...it's not the hot dry stuff. Yesterday had a 40 Humedex...(45 is Dangerous)...It's sticky ass humid surup. Feels like sludge heat. Plus ...in the city with 3 million people and cars...we had a "smog warning" too...it's a hackfest...But that said...I love it because living up here, they are few and far between. 25c is paradise ....shit 46C!!!!...Poorbob....I wouldn't even know what that would smell like never mind feel like! BTW - More of the same today too! The land of ice and snow

Rolling Stones - Can't you hear me knocking I don't know if it's just me or if it is the sadistic avatars/request for blood drop pedal enclosure, but I didn't peg you for a Classic Rock kind of guy  Listen to the words of the song a bit closer and you'll see its right up my alley. Yeah, you got satin shoes Yeah, you got plastic boots Yall got cocaine eyes Yeah, you got speed-freak jive Cant you hear me knockin on your window Cant you hear me knockin on your door Cant you hear me knockin down your dirty street, yeah Help me baby, aint no stranger Help me baby, aint no stranger Help me baby, aint no stranger Cant you hear me knockin, ahh, are you safe asleep? Cant you hear me knockin, yeah, down the gas light street, now Cant you hear me knockin, yeah, throw me down the keys Alright now Hear me ringing big bell tolls Hear me singing soft and low Ive been begging on my knees Ive been kickin, help me please Hear me prowlin Im gonna take you down Hear me growlin Yeah, Ive got flatted feet now, now, now, now Hear me howlin And all, all around your street now Hear me knockin And all, all around your town Its an addiction song, like most Stones tracks. That and the music if fucking brilliant. Sticky Fingers is one of the most saturated dope-centric albums ever produced. About the only thing that even comes remotely close is Perfect Circle's Thirteenth Step. I don't condone, glorify, or endorse any and all forms of drug use *at all* but dope has a permanent station in Rock's songwriting Hall of Fame. As far as musical taste I am a pure and total omnivore(aside from Rap and Country, those no workie here). I listen to everything from CCR to Diamanda Gallas to Earth to Massive Attack to Godflesh to Radiohead to Paradise Lost(OLD PL, let's be a bit clear on that one..), etc.. Whatever genre it is, as long as it's Art from the Heart,(and heavy), then I'm in.

yeah, where poorbob's at it gets scary hot (as i recall you're near palm springs, right?). i was down there a lot back in '03 before my dad passed away and it's like a fucking blast furnace when you walk outside. the only saving grace is the lack of humidity.

welshchris- 06-09-2008

Opennheimer - Take the whole midrange and boost it... great Belfast elecro pop, a guilty pleasure Eight Hands for Kali -Himalayan Necromantia ... One Track 56 mins, Space Doom.

Sickle ... you should check out Spiritualized's "Ladies & Gentlemen We Are Floating In Space." The last track is 18 minutes long and goes by the title "Cop Shoot Cop."

Yeah. I remember having two-a-days for HS football in literally 122F or 50C. That's tough. Anyways, so I contribute more to the thread, I guess you could find me listening to Various Captain Beefheart and my favorite track, Willie the Pimp, with Captain Beefheart and Frank Zappa.

The occasional buzzing of the mosquito in my room I can't find that's sucked half the blood from my body..
