Had Sleep, Depeche Mode, Sneakerpimps, Cavity, Eyehategod, Fu Manchu, Kyuss, Portishead, and Kiss it Goodbye on random in the iPod while tattooing tonight.
I like to take the Crustomers and lift em up, then smash em back down with what I play in my room.
The new Portishead is gnarly. Oddly enough the guitarist is a Fu Manchu fan. I've corresponded a bit with him. Should build him a pedal!

You should dude, totally, just send him one on the house; that guy rocks, man!
I hear fuzz on that new album all over the place.
I LOVE the 'We Carry On' track with that relentlessly repeating hook riff that builds and builds. Portishead could have mosh pits if they wanted to.
RARRRRRRR!!!!!!!!!
I luv me sum Portishead.

I used to be Brant Bjork's pool boy....nah, I wish there was a cool story behind it but basically I downloaded a Kyuss discography and that stuff was in with it. I still have to scrape my mind off the ceiling when I remember they were 16 when they recorded this.
I'll stick it on my "to upload" list for tomorrow.

Yeah man, upload them. Kyuss demos are pretty rare, I have sons of kyuss on cd and have only heard two live tunes that never appeared anywhere else, old English 800 and Choke, an earlier version of something, I forget.
